What is Xtream Codes?
Xtream Codes is a widely used IPTV back-end that exposes a standard HTTP API. Providers built on it can hand you credentials — host, username, password — instead of an M3U URL. It lets a player like Kanalo pull categorised movies and series, not just a flat channel list.
How to sign in to Xtream Codes in Kanalo
Open Kanalo, tap 'Add source', pick Xtream Codes, and enter your host (typically starting with http:// or https://), username and password. Kanalo saves the credentials locally and loads your library. You can switch between saved sources without re-typing anything.
Xtream Codes vs plain M3U
Both work in Kanalo. Xtream Codes usually gives you more: categorised VOD, series with seasons and episodes, posters and progress. If your provider offers both, use Xtream Codes.
