No. Kanalo is only a player. You bring your own M3U URL or Xtream Codes login from a service you already use.
How much does Kanalo cost? +
Kanalo is free to download — including the guide, favourites and continue-watching. The optional Pro upgrade on the App Store adds Picture in Picture, AirPlay, Chromecast, offline downloads, unlimited refreshes and Family Sharing. No ads.
Which sources are supported? +
Standard M3U / M3U8 playlists over HTTP(S), and Xtream Codes (host, username, password). EPG is picked up automatically when your provider sends it.
Does Picture in Picture work with live TV? +
Yes. Live channels, movies and series all support native iOS PiP on iPhone and iPad, and AirPlay to Apple TV or compatible receivers.
What about iPad? +
Kanalo ships with a real iPad layout: a sidebar with groups and favourites next to the channel list, and split view for series details.
Is there a Mac, Apple TV or Android version? +
Not today. Kanalo focuses on doing one thing well on iPhone and iPad. tvOS is on the roadmap.
Is the EPG really free? +
