What is EPG?
EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide — the schedule of what's playing, per channel, over time. IPTV providers usually ship EPG data as an XMLTV file referenced from your M3U or Xtream Codes source. A player like Kanalo reads that file and renders it as a guide.
How Kanalo shows EPG
On iPhone: a compact now/next bar under each channel with a live progress indicator. Tap a channel and swipe up to see the day's schedule. On iPad: a horizontal grid so you can scan several channels and time slots at once.
When EPG doesn't show
If your provider doesn't include an XMLTV URL, or the EPG file it points to is empty or broken, Kanalo shows the channel list without now/next. Nothing else about the app changes — you can still watch, favourite and cast normally.
