Which iPads does Kanalo run on?

Any iPad running iPadOS 17 or newer — including iPad (9th gen and later), iPad mini, iPad Air and every iPad Pro. Kanalo scales naturally with the display, including the 12.9" and 13" Pro sizes.

Why a dedicated iPad layout matters

iPad has enough screen real estate that a phone layout wastes most of it. Kanalo uses that space properly: sidebar for navigation, larger poster and backdrop art, and a player that stays in place instead of pushing everything else off-screen.

Split View, Stage Manager and PiP

Kanalo behaves the way iPadOS expects. Drop the player into Split View next to Safari, keep it in the corner with Picture in Picture, or arrange it in a Stage Manager window. It doesn't fight the system.
